What To Expect…

We LOVE it when someone comes for the first time. But, we don’t always recognize the first-time visitors because so many of the people who come are still fairly new, so feel free to say, “This is my first time” and we’ll be happy to help!

We care about YOU, not what you’re wearing, what you look like, or even if you root for that team up North. So feel free to come in jeans or whatever is comfortable.

When you arrive, our parking crew volunteers will be happy to show you to a parking spot as close as possible to the building. Greeters will be happy to assist you with directions, or any questions you may have.

Kids love it at Grace Kids! If you bring any children, you can check them in each Sunday with our secure Check-In system. All of our children’s ministry volunteers must pass background checks and have a heart for kids and families.

Feel free to grab a free hot cup of coffee from our Cafe on your way in, and sit wherever you’d like! We will NOT single you out publicly or ask you to say anything, and we do NOT expect guests to contribute anything financially, so you can leave your wallets at home.

We love singing music that is modern and contemporary, but sometimes we mix in some traditional songs. Don’t worry, if you don’t know a song, we provide lyrics so you can follow along.

We believe that the message of Jesus is relevant today, and we preach the Bible, and believe it is without error. We don’t shy away from talking about relevant and even sometimes controversial topics in today’s world.

Below are the beliefs and truths that shape who we are as a church:

Life Change is our mission and our passion at Grace Community Church.  It is our deep desire to help people meet, know, and follow Jesus.

We believe in…

THE ONE TRUE GOD existing eternally as three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST His preexistence and deity, incarnation by the virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, present ministry, and coming again.

THE HOLY SPIRIT His personality and His work in each believer, baptism and indwelling at the moment of regeneration and filling to empower for Christian life and service.

MAN His direct creation in the image of God, his subsequent fall into sin resulting in spiritual death and the necessity of the new birth for his salvation.

THE CHURCH One true Church, the body and bride of Christ, composed of all true believers of the present age and the organization of its members in local churches for worship, for edification of believers and for the worldwide gospel witness, each local church being autonomous but cooperating in fellowship and work.

ORDINANCES The Christian should observe the ordinances of our Lord Jesus Christ which are: 1.) baptism of believers by immersion and 2.) the communion service.

SATAN His existence and personality as the great adversary of God and His people, his judgment and final doom.

SECOND COMING The personal, visible and imminent return of Christ to remove His Church from the earth before the tribulation and afterward to descend with the Church to establish His millennial kingdom upon the earth.

FUTURE LIFE The conscious existence of the dead, the resurrection of the body, the judgment and reward of believers, the judgment and condemnation of unbelievers, the eternal life of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.

RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST We exist to challenge unbelievers toward a relationship with Jesus Christ and challenge believers toward positive relationships in their families, the Church, and our community.

INSTRUCTION IN GOD’S WORD We want you to grow closer to God through the reading and studying of His Word. Grace offers a series of Core (Connect, Grow, Serve, and Reach) Classes to help you through your daily relationship with God.

SERVICE IN OUR CHURCH We believe that God has uniquely created each believer for the purpose of loving Him and serving His church, which is a crucial step in spiritual maturity.

EVANGELISM For many people, evangelism conjures thoughts of a man preaching on TV in a white suit, asking for money. Other people may think of going door to door. For many, the thought of evangelism creates a feeling of discomfort or fear. Grace Community wants to help you not only get a Biblical understanding of evangelism, but also catch the excitement that comes from sharing your faith in Jesus Christ.
